Towards a Future for All

Riya Seafoods helps to create a more sustainable and equitable future for the aquaculture industry, the environment, and local communities. Our goal is to empower one million farmers by 2030. With this goal in mind, Riya Seafoods has 5 key principles.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

The most effective way to empower seafood farmers is by providing training and technical support on sustainable farming practices. We have developed a comprehensive training program.

PARTNERSHIPS

We have established partnerships with NGOs and government agencies to provide support and resources to farmers. This can include financial support, technical assistance, and access to certification programs that promote sustainability.

SUSTAINABLE AQUACULTURE

Invests in sustainable aquaculture infrastructure, such as recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), which recycle water and minimize waste. This can help to reduce the environmental impact of farming while increasing efficiency and profitability.

PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD

We promote sustainable seafood, by sourcing and marketing products that meet sustainability standards, such as the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) and Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification. This can create demand for sustainable seafood products and encourage farmers to adopt sustainable practices.

ENGAGING WITH COMMUNITIES

We are constantly looking for new ways to promote sustainability by engaging with communities to understand their needs and concerns and work with them to develop sustainable farming practices that benefit both the environment and local communities, by supporting community-based conservation efforts.

We ensure that each of our farms is socially responsible and follows ethical and transparent farming processes.

Shrimp are raised in conditions that protect the environment, without antibiotics.

Providing sustainable products has always been the mission of Riya Seafoods. The shrimp produced in our farms are disease-resistant, chemical-free, safe for consumption and healthy.
